.....beaten 2-1 at Longmead by a now third-placed Bognor Regis Town.

This was a match to grace Non-League Day in front of a crowd of 814 with plenty of attacking football on show between two sides who will surely both be involved in the end of season shake-up.

Although it was goalless at the break, both sides had chances to take the lead.

Eventually something had to give although it was a bit of a gift for Bognor when Angels` defender Sonny Miles seemed to slow down to present Brad Lethbridge with the easiest of chances to put the Rocks ahead on 51 minutes.

But the Angels were in certainly no mood to give up the fight and started to come much more into the game putting the Bognor defence under some pressure. The equaliser was coming and in the 67th minute Adem Ramadan combined with Joe Turner to set up Alex Read who fired past Dan Lincoln.

At this stage it looked possible that Tonbridge would grab all the points but following a long stoppage due to a bad foul on keeper Jonathan Henly, Mason Walsh fired a 25-yard daisy cutter past sub keeper Stewart Copeland in the 90th minute and all the points were going back to Bognor.

Angels manager Steve McKimm toold the club`s website: “I thought we were a bit tentative in the first half with one of two players hiding but second half we played much more to our potential.”

Rocks` assistant-manager Robbie Blake said: “I thought we were the better team in the first half but it was a more even affair second half and we were under a bit of pressure once they got their equaliser but to get the winner in stoppage time was reward for our efforts over the match.”

An excellent crowd of 1,320 saw second-placed Worthing defeat Kingstonian 3-1 at the Bibby Financial Stadium in a game that was far closer than the scoreline suggests.

The main difference in this game was being able to take chances, as K's carved out several good ones but were only able to convert one when Elliott Buchanan was awarded the goal in the 41st minute that gave the visitors an equaliser.

Worthing had taken the lead in the 32nd minute when Callum Kealy flicked the ball home past debutant K's keeper Sam Mason.

And the Rebels went on to win the game late in the day with two very similar goals, with David Ajoboye giving his side the lead in the 76th minute and then Alex Parsons sealing victory as the clock ticked past the 90-minute mark.

Dorking Wanderers are now fourth after they won 1-0 at The Fullicks Stadium against Folkestone Invicta.

A crowd of 443 saw Tom Richards grab the only goal in the 13th minute.

Dorking slipped above Enfield Town in the table after the latter`s 2-1 defeat at Hartsdown Park against sixth-placed Margate, who are now level on points with their visitors.

Another decent attendance of 658 saw Joe Taylor give Gate a 21st minute lead from the penalty spot.

Billy Bricknell equalised 10 minutes before the break.

But the Kent side claimed the points with a second for Taylor, this time from open play, 15 minutes from time.

Another excellent Non-League Day crowd of 651 at the Green Elephant Stadium inspired Burgess Hill Town to their first league win of the season against Haringey Borough.

The Hillians` Kieron Pamment opened the scoring with the only goal of the first half after 31 minutes.

Two minutes after the break, Joel Nouble equalised, only for Lukas Franzen-Jones to restore the bottom-markers` lead just 2 minutes later.

And a third goal from Pat Harding in stoppage time sealed a first win in eleven matches for the Sussex side.

Second-bottom Harlow Town, however, suffered a 4-0 home bashing by Carshalton Athletic.

First half goals from Michael Onovwigun and Bobby Price gave the Robins a nice cushion.

And they secured the points with two more in the final 6 minutes of the game through subs Mike Dixon and Jacob Mendy.

Third-bottom Brightlingsea Regent picked up a point at the Enclosed Ground against Whitehawk.

Another good attendance, 565, saw Kwai Marsh-Brown give the Hawks a 34th minute lead they held right until the 90th minute when Regent were awarded a penalty that Billy Hunt converted to earn a point.

Regent are level on points with Leatherhead, who were beaten 1-0 at the Maurice Rebak Stadium by Wingate & Finchley, who were under the new management team of Nicky Shorey and Glen Little for the first time.

Marc Charles-Smith gave their new charges an 18th minute lead, but the Tanners were often foiled by home `keeper Shane Gore, who made several good saves.

Wingate hung on though, despite a stoppage time dismissal for defender Luke Ifil.

On an otherwise good day for Sussex sides, Lewes lost 1-0 at the Pakex Stadium against Potters Bar Town, whose Eoin Casey scored the only goal 9 minutes from time.

Corinthian-Casuals moved out of the bottom three after also winning 1-0 at King George`s Field against AFC Hornchurch – Gabriel Odunaike`s effort 11 minutes from the end proving decisive.

And at Merstham`s SpecSavers Stadium, visiting Bishop`s Stortford held on for almost the entire second half with ten-men to earn a 1-1 draw.

Walter Figueira had given the Moatsiders the lead just before half-time and then the Blues had defender Jordan Westcott dismissed 3 minutes into the second half with a straight red card.

But the ten-men levelled in the 81st minute through Isaac Nkosi.
