Sewa Marah has joined on loan from SkyBet League One side Southend United.

Marah is a forward or attacking midfielder who has come through the Shrimpers' youth academy, and also had a spell on loan with Bostik North side Aveley last season.

Chapman also announced the addition of experienced goalkeeper Richard Hayward, who will provide competition for the existing goalkeeping options.

Hayward is well known in the local non-League scene and has coached and played at a number of clubs including Cheshunt, Enfield Town, Concord Rangers, Waltham Abbey, Chesham United, Arlesey Town, Tilbury, Bishop's Stortford and Potters Bar Town.

Marah made his Hawks debut in the disappointing 4-0 home defeat to Carshalton Athletic, while Hayward was an unused substitute.
