Winger Martin made 11 appearances for the Hawks this season but had to leave the club due to work commitments.

He started his career at Sunderland before moving to Watford and then AFC Hornchurch.

Long spells with Braintree Town and Havant & Waterlooville followed, then even longer spells at Harlow, making well over 100 appearances for each.

Martin was expected to sign for Thurlow Nunn Leaguers Newmarket Town after leaving Harlow, but it was Walthamstow that won his signature.

Speaking about the signing, Ryan Maxwell told https://www.walthamstowfc.com: “Robbie brings real quality, experience and can play just about anywhere if needed.”

“He’s just the right character too and will fit in well at Walthamstow FC”.
