Midfielder Lewington started this season as the club captain before leaving in early August to join Cherry Red Records Combined Counties League Premier Division side Walton & Hersham.

He has a wealth of experience in the game. Starting off at Wimbledon, with spells at Maidenhead United and Walton Casuals.

He led the club back to the Bostik League as champions of the Combined Counties League and has lifted the Surrey Combination Cup three times in recent years.

As a player, he wears his heart on his sleeve at all times and is expected to be the same as a manager.

Lewington will take charge of the team for tomorrow`s league fixture at Bedfont Sports.
