Peddie is a vastly experienced 36-year-old defender who has played 32 times for Dockers over the last two seasons.

Last season, he played six times on loan from Vanarama National League South side East Thurrock United and was on the losing side just once.

Peddie spent nine seasons with East Thurrock, having joined from Redbridge in 2011.

His other previous clubs include Boreham Wood and Leyton.

Tilbury manager Joe Keith is pleased with the signing, telling his club`s website: “This might be my most important signing so far, as not only is he a good player, but he is a great person to have in the dressing as all the other players look up to him”.
