In the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division on Saturday, Holmer Green lost 2-1 against Virginia Water, all goals scored in the first half.

Lydney Town scored a goal in each half from Lewis Thompson and Jordi Sheen against visitors Flackwell Heath to win 2-0.

 

Royal Wootton Bassett Town were 3-1 losers against table-toppers Brackley Town Saints        at Gerrard Buxton Sports Ground.

 

TJ Bohane was on the scoreheet for the hosts, but James Hammond, Alex Stott and a late Charlie Kille effort saw Saints home.

 

Shrivenham and Ascot Unitedshared the points with 2-2 draw at Barrington Park..

 

In the Bluefin Sport Challenge Cup, Abingdon United go through to the next round in a 4-1 win against Tuffley Rovers at Northcourt.

 

Tom Butler bagged a brace for United.

 

Ardley United won 3-2 against Division One West side Malmesbury Victoria at The Nolan Oils Ground with Toby London`s brace being decisive.

 

Bishops Cleeve scored six times against One West Kidlington Developmen, who recorded two goals in the Kayte Lane contest.

 

Kevin Slack scored two of the Cleeve goals.

 

At The Meadow, the Brimscombe & Thrupp versus Abingdon Town game was abandoned after 35 minutes with Brimscombe seven goals to the good.

 

Abingdon turned up with just 7 players and lost one in the second half so the game was called off which will disappoint Brimscombe and especially Josh Swales who netted a first half hat-trick.

 

Division One West side Clanfield (85) recorded a 4-1 win against One East Woodley United at Radcot Road, thanks to a Callum Miller hat-trick which counted!

 

Division One West Easington Sports lost 3-1 to Premier side Wantage Town at Addison Road, while Fairford Town lost 2-0 to One East outfit AFC Aldermaston at the Cinder Lane Stadium.

 

The game was won in the first half by Aldermaston, although they had two red cards issued against them in the second half.

 

Premier side Longlevens recorded a 3-0 win against Two East Thatcham Town Development at Sawmills End with Harry Emmett bagging a brace.

 

One West Thornbury Town took Premier Division Binfield into extra-time at Mundy Playing Fields.

 

The score ended with Binfield winning 4-2.

 

Windsor scored two goals in the second half to secure victory over One East Holyport at Stag Meadow through Jordan Ellis and Victor Ocansey.

 

A first half goal for One East Wokingham & Emmbrook was enough to secure victory over Premier Division Reading City at Larges Lane – the home scorer being Ellis Day 5 minutes before the break.
