Sadler took charge of his last game on Saturday 20th October which was a 3-1 cup win at Easington Sports.

Sadler has had a very successful two years at the club, taking over when Stuart Cattell stepped down from management back in December 2016.

The team, under his management, won the Reading Senior Cup last season, and this season the team has had the most successful run in the Emirates FA Cup in its history.

Sadler made the decision to step down because he has said he wants to spend more time with his young family, so the club have respected that decision and have wished both him and Braithwaite well in whatever they decide to do going forward.

The club have already received interest in the position of manager. Both the club and the first-team players are keen to keep the team together, so there are discussions between the club and the players how best to proceed.

Until that is agreed, Wantage will not be looking to recruit a new manager.
