....Southern League Division One South side Blackfield & Langley until the end of the season to get pitch time and continue his development.
Balmer has been an ever-present member of the first-team squad at Poole since the start of last season and, although he started a number of games in the National League South, he spent some time on the bench.
Balmer first came to prominence playing for the under-18s at Poole and he has progressed well since his debut for the first-team.
However, as a young player you need game-time and Blackfield & Langley are riding high after promotion to the Southern League.
Poole manager Tom Killick is happy to entrust the promising youngster to former Dolphin Glenn Howes, his opposite number at Gang Warily.
Balmer's loan started on Saturday when he scored the winning goal in a 3-2 victory at Gang Warily against previously unbeaten Melksham Town.
Although this is a season-long loan, Poole Town have retained a right of recall any time after 28 days.
