Lynch started his career at Burnley and has featured at Clitheroe, Altrincham and FC Halifax Town.
He played 31 times for the Shaymen after signing from Altrincham, including 13 appearances in the National League during the 2017/18 campaign.
He moved to Southport in November 2017 for an undisclosed fee, where the current Port captain made 34 appearances in the league and has made nine starts so far this season.
Reds boss Billy Heath told the club`s press officer Amar Sharma: “David is a brilliant central midfield player, he’s a great competitor all over the pitch and he works really hard.”
“He is very experienced, he’s been promoted from this league before and it will add more experience to us, it’s another strong addition to the squad and another quality signing. We are delighted to have him here”. |
