Styche joined the Quakers in November 2017 and scored twice on his debut against Harrogate Town in the Buildbase FA Trophy.

He began his career at Hednesford Town before going on to have spells at Grantham Town, Coalville Town, Shepshed Dynamo and Chasetown.

His goalscoring record came into fruition at Forest Green Rovers where he scored 35 goals in 108 appearances between 2010 and 2014.

Further spells at Wycombe Wanderers and Kidderminster Harriers followed as well as at Macclesfield Town and Gateshead.

He was then loaned to Nuneaton Borough during the 2016/17 season before moving to Tamworth in the summer of 2017, where he scored 10 goals.

A switch to Darlington came in November of the same season for an undisclosed fee and Styche went on to finish the campaign with 21 league goals.

Styche has netted 5 goals in 10 league starts for Darlington this campaign.

Alfreton manager Billy Heath told the club`s press officer Amar Sharma: “We are delighted to have signed Reece, he is another experienced addition to the squad and he has always scored goals. He’s always scored goals at whatever level he has played and especially at this level.

“He had a big impact on Darlington and he will bring goals to us and added quality to the squad. It’s been a great week for the club with progression in the FA Cup, we had Sam Hird and David Lynch join us so it’s been a really good week.

“Reece is another competitor and it’s a big signing for us and a quality addition. We are pleased to have got him.”
