Tattum, 22, began his career at the Manchester City academy and is a Wales under-17 international.

 

He spent time with the Sheffield Wednesday development squad after leaving City in 2016 before joining Stalybridge Celtic, moving to FC United midway through last season.

 

Meanwhile, following a seven-day notice from NPL Division One West outfit Ramsbottom United, the Mariners have confirmed that Tony Donaldson has left to move to the Harry Williams Riverside Stadium.

 

Donaldson began his career at Skelmersdale United.

 

He joined Doncaster Rovers on a professional contract in January 2017 and has also had spells at AFC Telford United, Runcorn Linnets and Widnes before signing for the Mariners in January 2018.
