At Burngullow Lane it was bottom v top as Sticker hosted Plymouth Argyle reserves with the Pilgrims setting a new high for the season and also equalling the all-time record for an away Premier Division victory as they won 11-0.

Saltash United in third place came from behind to win 3-2 away at Elburton Villa with a late goal but Newquay grabbed their winner even later as a stoppage time goal gave the Peppermints a 3-2 win away at Camelford.

A dramatic Saturday of action in the top flight with none of the morning`s top four collecting any points.

Falmouth Town in second missed the chance to close the gap back on leaders Plymouth Argyle as they were beaten 1-0 away at the fast-improving Cullompton Rangers.

At Poltair Park, St Austell who started the day in 4th, lost 3-4 in a seven-goal thriller to an Exmouth Town side who underlined their say in the title race with a late winner.

The main benefactor of the dropped points was Tavistock, who had a narrow 2-1 win at home to Ivybridge Town which took full advantage of the results around them.

Elsewhere, Torpoint Athletic romped to the day`s biggest win with a 7-0 success at home to Launceston and Callington Town climbed out of the bottom two with a 3-1 win away at Godolphin Atlantic.

One game ended all-square with Bodmin Town drawing 1-1 at home to Millbrook with the hosts finishing the game with nine-men after two sending-offs.
