Hall, 23, was not in Taunton ’s squad for Saturday’s Buildbase FA Trophy game against Weymouth but is expected to travel with the team to Swindon Supermarine this weekend.
The versatile left-sided player joins Taunton with vast National League experience, having previously played for Gloucester City for three and a half years, after being a young pro at Bristol City, before switching to Edgar Street earlier this summer.
Taunton’s new head of football Rob Dray told https://www.tauntontown.com: “We’ve tracked Lewis for a while now and we’re genuinely excited to have him abroad. He totally fits in with the type of player we are looking for - great pedigree, battle-hardened in the National League North, ambitious and importantly he raises the bar.”
Hall said: I’m looking forward to a fresh challenge at Taunton. It’s a club who are on the up and I hope I can make a big impact. I’ve watched the lads a couple of times and I am really excited to be joining the club."
Meanwhile, Taunton have confirmed that it has waived a seven-day approach submitted by Southern League Division One South side Melksham Town for defender Nuno Felix.
Felix re-joined the Peacocks for his second spell in March earlier this year and helped the club clinch the Division One West title by 19 points securing promotion to the Southern Premier South.
On the departure of Felix, Dray said: “I didn’t want Nuno to leave but I couldn’t guarantee him the game time that he needed. He’s a good player and a lovely lad and we wish him all the very best in his next venture”.
