Sankofa played in the Premiership with Charlton Athletic and recently played with Dulwich Hamlet.

Streatham-born Sankofa is a versatile defender who can play anywhere across the back line.

He was previously with Whitehawk but began his professional career with Charlton in 2002 where he spent six years.

Subsequently he moved to Southend United before playing for a number of clubs in the Conference South including Farnborough, Eastleigh and Hayes & Yeading United.

He has been capped at every level of England youth football from under-16 through to under-20.

Beyond the playing side of the game, Sankofa has also delivered workshops for `Kick It Out` and is a trained tutor by the Professional Footballers Association.

He will join the Glebe management team, whilst registering as a player in a dual role.
