....Hallmark Security League side Bacup Borough and Paul Williams from NPL Premier side Witton Albion.

Twenty-nine-year-old Bryan, who has been with Bacup since October 2012 and who also manages the club's under-9s, has recently been named as the Hallmark Security League Division One player of the year and scored 28 goals for Bacup in the 2017/18 season.

Trafford manager Tom Baker told his club`s website: “Matty is someone we have been looking at for a while now. He is a hardworking centre-forward that has a real eye for goal. He had other options in our league and quite a few other clubs chasing but has chosen to come to Trafford.

“He’s really motivated to test himself at this level and I feel he’s a player that certainly can step up. Goalscorers are hard to come by and Matty certainly is one of them.”

Midfielder Paul Williams teams up once again with former Witton defender and captain Anthony Brown.

He joined Witton from Burscough in the summer of 2016 but did have a two-month spell previously with Albion in early 2009.

Prescot Cables twice, Formby and Leigh Genesis were his former clubs prior to spending four full seasons at Burscough, helping them to a play-off berth in 2015/16.

Baker said: “Willo is built for the same stuff as Anthony Brown. Maybe it’s a Scouse thing, maybe it’s not but for sure he is another born leader, a winner and someone that has a desire to be successful. He is a lovely football player and again someone that will fit right into our dressing room. He has great experience and know-how which should stand us in good stead this season”.
