Railwaymen Take U`s Striker on Loan

Evo-Stik Southern League Division One Central club Didcot Town have signed striker Brandon Taverner from Oxford United.

The 20-year-old is part of the under-23 squad at the Kassam Stadium, having originally started his football career with Bostik League Premier side Enfield Town.

He caught the eye by winning an academy scholar competition in conjuncture with `Four Four Two` magazine performance before joining Oxford.

He goes straight into the squad for tomorrow's game against Bedford Town and is also eligible for the upcoming cup competitions.
