The 18-year-old captained the Swans' Under-19s to victory over Cardiff City in the FAW Youth Cup final last month.

He has also played eight games for the Liberty Stadium side's Under-23s and was recently awarded his first professional deal.

“It’s a top side and when I knew that the club wanted me, that was a positive sign," said Cabango on joining Scott Ruscoe's charges.

"Being involved in the Champions League will be a new experience. I can’t wait to get started."

Ruscoe added: "Ben will join us on a loan deal from Swansea.

"We are fortunate to have a good relationship with the club which has allowed us to take such a young promising player.

"It will help Ben’s development, gaining experience in a European competition but also in the JD Welsh Premier league."
