Adam Richards and Marcus Mealing have been welcomed back to the club recently.

Richards made his return from Harrow Borough in the goalless draw at Cheshunt, whilst Mealing returned from the bench in the Berks & Bucks Cup victory against Ascot United.

Manager Mark Bartley told http://www.marlowfc.co.uk: “Adam Richards adds all of the qualities we know he brings to what has already proven to be a capable defensive unit and I was delighted to be able to bring him back to the club. It’s been well documented that I have wanted to improve our potency in front of goal and Mealo will do that, having had a strong start to the season at Thame United.”

In addition to these two familiar faces, there have been a number of other additions to the squad in recent days.

Paolo Giamattei is a midfielder who completed his scholarship with Swindon Town before being released in the summer.

He was with Maidenhead United for the pre-season programme before joining Egham Town.

Bartley added: “Paolo is a technically efficient ball playing midfielder who covers a lot of ground, I’ve been impressed by his positional discipline and you will see a lot more of him this season.”

Isaac Olorunfemi is a full-back who also joins from Egham.

He was a member of the Maidenhead United youth set up before going to feature for a number of Southern League teams, including Northwood last season.

He is a pacey defensive player who provides good quality into the box and has settled into the squad seamlessly.

Louis Rogers is a defender who joins Marlow having left Premier League Watford in the summer following a number of years in their youth set-up and a year as a professional.

Bartley said “Louis has shown himself to be more than capable of competing for a place in the back line. His reading of the game and comfort in possession are two of his strongest attributes and I’m excited to have him on board with us.”

Jahvanne Wilson is a full-back who is an ex-Chesterfield scholar who also played for Ware.

He has good energy levels and is a strong one-on-one defender.

Whilst the current opportunity for matches is limited, Marlow have agreed for him to join Spartan South Midlands League side London Colney on a dual registration basis.

Defender Johan Rennemo has also signed, having previously been with Holmer Green in the SSML and with AFC Hayes.

Some players moving the other way are Chid Onokwai, who has decided to join league rivals FC Romania.

Mckoy Palmer has left to try and find more regular football, whilst Lewis Workman, Harry Laflin, Jay Welch and Leius Sinclair have joined Holmer Green, Ascot United, AFC Aldermaston and Flackwell Heath respectively on a dual registration.
