The left-back joined Worcester in mid-August after being released by Premier League new boys Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer and made 13 appearances.

Explaining the move, Osbourne told Worcester`s website: “There are no hard feelings towards Worcester, I thank them for giving me the opportunity to play and I have loved my time there.

“I live 5 minutes away from Khalsa and have been struggling to commit to turning up for Worcester.

“I needed to get playing again, manager John Snape gave me that opportunity and I am very grateful for that. This is just more beneficial for me.

“I cannot commit to Worcester like I have been, I was losing money from it.”

City waived the seven-day notice period in order for the transfer to go through quickly.

“Snapper made it easy for me, there was no pressure and told me to do what I needed to. He was understanding,” added Osbourne.
