George, son of Tiverton boss Martyn Rogers, can play both in defence and midfield.

The now 29-year-old made his debut for Tiverton in a Devon Cup match in January 2007 before continuing his career with Western Leaguers Willand Rovers for five seasons.

He returned to the Yellows squad at the start of the 2014/15 season.

Wellington boss Clive Jones has stressed that Rovers has not joined his club on loan.

"He wants regular football which he was not getting at Tiverton," said Jones.
