The club has placed on record its thanks for McMahon’s achievements in his time at the helm since he took over from Jamie Day in April 2015.

He has led the club to the play-offs in each of the last three seasons and won promotion from the National League South through the play-off final in 2017.

In the side’s first season back in the National League, the club reached the play-off semi-final, losing to eventual winners Tranmere Rovers.

Naturally, this is a disappointing day for myself and the Board in parting ways with someone who has been part of the very fabric of our club for the past three years. However, we believe it is the right decision for the club at this point in our development on and off the field. We wish Daryl all the very best in his future career and reiterate our thanks for all he has accomplished in getting the club to its current position”.
