Angels Held By K`s
Tonbridge Angels travelled to Kingstonian`s temporary home at King George`s Field on Wednesday night looking to return to the top of the Bostik League Premier.

However, they faced a K`s side who had been beaten just once in six league games, although the hosts suffered a blow ahead of kick-off when they had to borrow German goalkeeper Berti Schotteri from Vanarama National League South neighbours Woking when regular `keeper Rob Tolfrey was ruled out due to illness.

But it was the K's who took the lead in the 32nd minute with a fine individual goal from striker Louie Theophanous.

The second half saw Angels put the hosts under pressure looking for an equaliser and it didn`t look as though it would come.

However, with less than 4 minutes left of normal time, Liam King flick-headed home a corner from the six-yard box to earn Tonbridge a point which puts them level with Dorking Wanderers, who went to the top of the table 24 hours earlier after beating Potters Bar Town 4-1.
