The 23-year-old defender made his Angels debut in the 1-1 draw away to Kingstonian on Wednesday night where he deputised at left-back for the injured Jack Parter.

Knott was part of the successful East Thurrock United squad that gained promotion to National League South in 2016 but had since been out of the game for around one and a half seasons with injury.

He made his comeback for the Rocks in February of this year and subsequently joined Concord Rangers in September.

Angels assistant-manager Barry Moore told the club`s website: "Sammy is a proven defender at this level and will provide experienced cover for us, since at this stage we don't exactly know how long Jack Parter will be out for".
