Mitchell Adds Three to st Margaretsbury Squad

Matty Thomson
Max Mitchell, manager of Essex Senior League club St Margaretsbury, has made three new signings.

Joining on dual registration from Bostik League South Central side Hertford Town is young striker Theo Costa.

 

Costa came through the academy at Vanarama National League Boreham Wood before joining Hertford.

 

Also making the move from Hertingfordbury Park is midfielder Matty Thomson.

 

Thomson, who has made 7 first-team appearances this season, was a key figure in the Hertford side that gained promotion last year.

 

Previously with Welwyn Garden City, Colney Heath, Broxbourne Borough and Hoddesdon Town, he totalled over 100 appearances for the Blues.

 

Mitchell has also brought in centre-back Tommy Fletcher.

 

The 23-year-old started out at Hertford and Cheshunt before joining Wycombe Wanderers in 2013 after a successful trial.

 

He had a spell on loan with Bishop`s Stortford whilst on the Chairboys` books and since being released has been with Chesham United and Cheshunt.
