Taunton Town moved to within four points of leaders Weymouth in third after a 4-2 win against lowly Wimborne Town at the Viridor Stadium.

A crowd of 489 saw the Magpies put up a decent showing and take a 12th minute lead through Curtis Young which they held until 11 minutes into the second half when Ryan Brett equalised.

Two minutes later, Dan Sullivan put the Peacocks in front and then two more in 5 minutes from Craig Veal (73) and Matt Wright took the game away from the visitors, who did pull a second back through Jack Lovell 7 minutes from time.

Second-bottom Staines Town won for the first time in the league since September 1st, beating fellow strugglers Swindon Supermarine 2-1 at Wheatsheaf Park.

All the goals came within a 7-minute spell – Tanasheh Abrahams giving the Swans a 24th minute lead that Conor McDonagh cancelled out only for Andy Ali to restore the home side`s lead on 31 minutes – a lead they held as the weather worsened.

Third-bottom Kings Langley ended a six-game run without a win by winning 1-0 at the Rushmoor Community Stadium against a Farnborough side who have now gone eight games without a victory in league and cup.

Luke Wade-Slater scored the only goal just past the hour-mark.
