At the start of play, the Southern League boasted two of the few remaining unbeaten teams in the non-League Pyramid.

By the end of play, it possessed none as Yate Town joined Corby Town in the Central section in losing for the first time after ten games unbeaten.

Yate`s lead at the top is now just one point following their shock home defeat at The Jelf Stadium to second-bottom Barnstaple Town.

Harry Stevens gave Barum a 22nd minute lead that Josh Ford cancelled out 11 minutes into the second half.

But Tallan Mitchell won it for the Devonians on 66 minutes.

Blackfield & Langley are now just a point behind the Bluebells as they became one of five sides to achieve away wins in the seven games played.

They won 2-0 at mid-table Larkhall Athletic, thanks to a Lerone Plummer brace in the 65th and then in stoppage time from the penalty spot.

Moneyfields are third after winning away by the same scoreline at Thatcham Town, courtesy of a Steve Hutchings brace in the 53rd and 86th minutes.

Cirencester Town climbed into the top five after another 2-0 away win, this time at the Jubilee Stadium against Evesham United.

Ben Whitehead after 28 minutes and Ellis Dunton right on the stroke of half-time with the Ciren goals.

Cinderford Town are level on points with Cirencester in sixth after a 1-0 win at Highworth Town – a Dan Macdonald spot-kick proving decisive in the 26th minute.

Bideford AFC and Mangotsfield United shared a 0-0 draw in Devon, while the only home winners were lowly Slimbridge, for whom Will Hawes scored the only goal after 66 minutes against Paulton Rovers.
