At Exmouth Town a solitary goal was enough to give the hosts a 1-0 win over a Tavistock side who lost their second game in four days after having previously been unbeaten in the league.

Exmouth have now dropped the same number of points as the Lambs and are very much in the title race themselves.

At Jenkins Park another solitary strike was enough to earn the points as Cullompton Rangers 1-0 in probably their first ever visit to Millbrook.

Torpoint Athletic gave the supporters at The Mill a few more goals as they ran out 3-0 winners at home to Ivybridge Town.

In the Walter C Parson Cup, Elburton Villa are the first side through to the quarter-finals after a win on penalties away at East Division side Ilfracombe Town. Villa drew 2-2 after 120 minutes before edging the shoot-out.

In the Cornwall Senior Cup, six of the nine Premier sides involved went through today with two of the three who fell being in all Premier clashes. Launceston had a 4-1 win over Sticker at Pennygillam and Camelford were 2-1 winners away at Newquay.

The one side humbled were Callington Town who went out after a 1-0 defeat at West Division side Porthleven.

Two Premier sides went through against West opposition with Falmouth Town 2-1 victors` at home to St Dennis and Helsron Athletic 2-0 winners away at Mousehole.

Two sides are through after big scoring wins over Combination League sides with holders Saltash United winning 8-0 at RNAS Culdrose and St Austell having a 6-0 win away at St Just.
