....Clevedon Town in the Toolstation Western League Premier Division on Saturday.

Brad Ausden struck in the early stages of either half for the away side, with a Josh Searle penalty, and a goal midway through the second half from Craig Duff completing the win.

Down in Devon, Bitton came back from 3-1 down to defeat Buckland Athletic 5-4 in a wild game at Homers Heath.

Goals from Ethan Phillips, Ryan Bush and Cam Kelly had put the home side into a strong position before Bitton began their fightback.

New signing Aysa Corrick made an instant impact for the Gloucestershire outfit, scoring twice on debut, with usual suspects Josh Egan, Ben Bament and Kane Ingram also getting on the scoresheet as Bitton scored four times in the final 23 minutes to secure all three points.

Bridgwater Town added to their league high goal tally against Shortwood United on Saturday afternoon, with Harry Horton, Tom Ellis, Ian Bellinger and Patrick O’Halloran each finding the back of the net during their 4-2 win over the division’s basement dwellers.

At Bolitho Park, Plymouth Parkway made it three home wins on the bounce after defeating Bradford Town 4-2.

Former Argyle youngster Aaron Bentley scored twice in the opening quarter-hour for the hosts, before Will Haliston and Dan Cottle struck to level things up for the in-form Town.

Adam Carter found time before the break to fire Parkway back ahead, with Mike Williams completing the win seven minutes from time.

Hengrove Athletic secured a much-needed 2-1 victory at home to Wellington, with Jack Fillingham heading home twice in the opening 20 minutes to hold off the challenge of their visitors who had halved the deficit through Connor Bryant.

Hallen were also victors by two goals to one, with Caelen Simpson’s goal in the second half adding to an earlier effort from Daryl Charman in their win over Brislington.

Elsewhere there were a pair of 1-0 victories, with Liam Pullen’s lone goal enough for Chipping Sodbury against Roman Glass St George, while Ash McGrane struck 3 minutes after the break as Odd Down saw off the challenge of Bridport in Bath.

In the First Division, Calne Town are now riding a nine-match unbeaten run after storming to a 5-1 victory away at Welton Rovers.

Stuart Windsor maintained his excellent form in front of goal, scoring twice at West Clewes, with Matt Jenkins also notching a brace for the triumphant visitors.

New league leaders Chard Town also won on their travels, with three goals in the space of 20 minutes from Max Westlake, Nathan Warren and Ryan Parris helping them come from a goal down to beat Ashton & Backwell United 3-1.

Keynsham Town secured a 2-1 win at home to Wincanton Town as they moved up to fourth in the league table.

Having fallen behind in the first half to a towering header from Michael Grist, Wincanton equalised 15 minutes from time following a deflected effort, with Matt Brown flicking home a late winner for the K’s.

Devizes Town came out on top in a dramatic game at Nursteed Road, surviving a red card on their way to a 1-0 victory over Bishops Lydeard. Town keeper Adam Walters kept out a penalty effort from visiting forward Zac Ryder at the end of the first half, with the ten-men claiming the winning goal 4 minutes from time through Ali Bradley.

The only goal of the game at Lakeview was even later in the contest, with a 95th minute penalty from Reece John steering Bishop Sutton to a 1-0 triumph at home to Sherborne.

On a day of late goals, Wells City and Corsham Town joined in the fun, with both teams striking in the final 15 minutes on their way to 2-1 home victories. Wells came from a goal down to defeat Oldland Abbotonians, with Ben Warren equalising on the hour-mark, before Charlie Crook scored 5 minutes from time to salvage all three points.

Meanwhile, at the Southbank Ground, Dan King’s winning penalty led Corsham to victory over Bristol Telephones who had levelled things up late on after Dan Harvey’s header had put Town ahead earlier in the contest.

Managerless Radstock Town fell to a fourth consecutive league defeat, with Darren Carter and Luke Bryant sandwiching an effort from Simon Millard as Longwell Green Sports gained a 2-1 victory at the Southfields Rec.

Portishead Town made it back-to-back league wins on their travels, scoring three times before the break on their way to securing a 3-2 victory away at Chippenham Park.
