Neil Baker, manager of Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Division One West club Leek Town, returned to his former clubs....

.....to bring in Billy Sass-Davies on loan from SkyBet League Two sidee Crewe Alexandra.

 

The 18-year-old central defender came straight into the side to replace injured captain Scott Lycett who faces a number of weeks on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.

 

Sass-Davies is a first-year professional who is a member of Crewe's Under 23 squad and had a spell on loan at Colwyn Bay last season.

 

Baker was impressed with his loanee's debut, telling the club`s website: "He was one of our better players, he hardly put a foot wrong and was very calm and measured in what he did and one the majority of his headers".
