Kieran Nolan
made his Linnets debut in February 2017 and made 68 appearances, including
eight as a substitute, has joined league rivals Mossley AFC.
Nolan, 21,
had joined Runcorn in January 2017 after leaving Northwich Victoria, where he
had been captain.
He had
previously played for Ramsbottom United and Salford City and also appeared in
2015/16 for Alsager Town in the North West Counties League Premier Division.
The player
was at Bolton Wanderers from 2013 before being released from the under-18 squad
in May 2015.
He arrived
at Linnets as primarily a centre-half who could play anywhere across the back
four, Kieran was converted by Michael Ellison into a holding midfield player
and has been a big success in the pivotal position.
He matured
greatly as a player in his time with the club, proving an effective shield for
the defence and his presence giving the more attack-minded midfield players
chance to push forward in support of the strikers.
He made 40
appearances in Runcorn's NWCL title-winning campaign of 2017/18 out of a total
of 68 appearances for the club. |
