Moors somehow shared a 0-0 draw after extra-time with Brackley Town at St James`s Park today.

After a first half of relatively few opportunities, Brackley had a great chance to take the lead after 68 minutes.

Matt Lowe`s shot was blocked and fell to Carl Baker, whose shot was cleared but only to Lowe whose shot hits the the post.

Ten minutes from the end of normal time, the home side`s sub, Luke Fairlamb, beats his man but his cross hit the outside of the post and was hacked to safety.

Then, in extra-time, Baker struck the crossbar and in the 116th minute, Lee Ndlovu missed the chance of the game when clean through with the goal unguarded!

But somehow it ended 0-0 and Moors carried their fortune into the shoot-out to triumph 5-4.

A terrific crowd of 3,446 saw Chorley also take their place in the final after a penalty shoot-out after beating Altrincham.

The major action in this tie came midway through the second half when it was Alty who broke the deadlock to take a 67th minute lead – Josh Hancock

beating the offside trap before firing low past Matt Urwin.

But Hancock`s day went from joy to misery just 5 minutes later when his challenge on Marcus Carver was deemed worthy of a straight red card.

And 10 minutes later, the Magpies took advantage of their extra man by levelling the tie when Chris Blakeman's long throw was helped on by Andy Teague and Josh Wilson prodded home on the line.

Altrincham defended bravely during extra-time, thanks mainly to Tony Thompson in the visitors` goal.

However, it was Chorley `keeper Matt Unwin who proved to be the shoot-out hero, saving the first three of Alty`s efforts as the hosts ran out 3-1 winners.
