....former Ashton United forward Martin Pilkington, Alex McQuade from Ossett United, Kane Hickman from Glossop North End, attacking midfielder Reece Fishwick and goalkeeper Grant Shenton from Chester FC.

Pilkington agreed terms and will form a formidable front line at the club with the likes of Liam Hardy, Brad Grayson and Diego De Girolamo.

Second was Alex McQuade, who joins the Bucks having spent last season at Ossett United.

Kane Hickman, who had a short stay with the Bucks at the start of last season before joining Glossop North End, has also joined.

Fishwick joins after a spell at Prescot Cables and is a former Preston North End youngster.   

Shenton has signed a deal with Buxton for the forthcoming season where he will take over the number one spot from Theo Roberts, who spent a successful loan spell at Silverlands last season, helping them reach the play-offs.

Shenton was an ever-present for Chester last season in the Vanarama National League North, playing in all 42 games as well as another five in cup competitions.

He managed to keep 16 clean sheets along the way in all competitions and keeping the second highest amount in the division.

He joined Chester a year ago following his departure from Trafford.

The 28-year-old made over 200 appearances for Ramsbottom United and has since played for Stalybridge Celtic and Trafford.
