Ex-professional player Gary Elkins will be head coach with Sam Elkins moving into management alongside join-manager Marcus Brown.

New Coach and former Oxford United youth Sam Parish completes the team.

Gary Elkins was a pro at both Wimbledon, Fulham and Swindon Town during the 1980s and 90s, making over 250 League appearances.

Since leaving the pro game, he has been involved in management at Didcot Town, but he is also known locally for his work with young offenders and first aid training.

Sam Elkins will be making his first step into management. He told http://www.miltonunited.co.uk: “I’m delighted to be joining Milton United. It’s a great club with all the right people, focus and energy to succeed and take the team from strength to strength.

Sam Elkins started his career with the Reading academy. Since going non-League, he has made around 500 appearances for Abingdon United, North Leigh and especially Didcot Town where, in 2018, an injury to his knee put a halt on his playing career.

Chairman Andy Burchette said: “We have been working hard to get the right people involved at Milton. The first-team management is an extremely important part of the club. Losing Paul Bedwell to Didcot Town just knocked us back on our heels for a while. But we have bounced back quickly, found and appointed a new exciting management team that will enable us to go forward with confidence”.
