Edwards
is a 40-year-old UEFA A licensed coach who spent the past 15 years as manager
of Chalfont St Peter before deciding to leave at the end of last season.
He
steered Chalfont to Step 4 of the league system in 2011, as well as reaching
the Third Qualifying Round of the FA Cup on three occasions.
He
is a deputy head teacher with particular responsibility for physical education
and safeguarding.
Edwards
will be accompanied by Fred Cummings as assistant-manager.
Cummings
is well known to Uxbridge followers as a combative centre-half with 320
appearances between 1982 and 1989.
