Walton counts Manchester City, Leeds United,
Barnsley and York City amongst his former clubs, and has spent the last sixteen
months with the South Elmsall outfit.
Farsley
manager Adam Lakeland told http://www.farsleyceltic.com: “I'm delighted that
Tyler has joined us, he's a local lad who is young, hungry and ambitious.
“Tyler's
a player we have been aware of and monitoring since we came to the club.
“We've
had him watched numerous times, and reports from people whose opinions I trust
suggest he should be playing higher, which he has in the past at York, making
his debut aged just 17.
“He
has energy, athleticism, can go past a player, has a creative eye and the
ability to score goals. He is a good size and can play in midfield, wide or
behind the strikers, giving us additional options and competition for places.
“We
have recruited a number of players with these traits over the last two seasons
which has worked for us and I'm sure Tyler will thrive within the environment
we've created with the excellent group of players we already have. I'm
delighted to have him on board”.
