The
Eagles revealed that Elam, who was a player at Exeter City, Yeovil Town and
Morecambe, contacted the club to express an interest in taking over as boss
following the resignation of Sean Regan.
A
club statement says Elam's interest was "flattering" considering his
CV that also includes an impressive coaching background.
He
has coached at Bradford City's academy and he is currently the head of his own
Pro Elite Academy that is also based in the city.
It
adds: "Eccleshill United are thrilled with the appointment and would like
to wish Lee and his future backroom staff the very best.
"Elam
will be taking the Eagles on into pre-season and the NCEL Premier Division
campaign, in which we look forward to seeing Elam and the side excel". |
