McAuley played for the K's in the 2016/17 season, joining on a dual registration basis from Oxford City, making his debut in February in the 1-1 draw at AFC Sudbury.
He went on to make 13 appearances, scoring once and moved on to Hampton & Richmond Borough for the 2017/18 season, helping the Beavers to the National League South play-off final.
McAuley has had extensive National League South experience, as, apart from his spells with Oxford City and Hampton, he has also seen action for Eastleigh, Hayes & Yeading United and Basingstoke Town.
K's director Yioryos Vasilaras told the club`s website: "I'm delighted that Shaun is another quality person who has bought into what we are wanting to do this season, and he will be another excellent addition to the ever-strengthening squad."
Day is a player who can play almost anywhere on the park and has worked with K's manager Leigh Dynan at both Farnborough and Whyteleafe.
Last season, he was the managers' and supporters' player of the year.
Dynan is happy to be re-united with Day: "I'm really pleased to have brought Scott to Kingstonian - he is a player that the supporters will love, he can play almost anywhere, he always gives 110%, and he has scored goals in the National League South. I worked with him when I was at both Whyteleafe and Farnborough and I'm looking forward to working with him once again". |
