Wiles Signing for Taddy

Tadcaster Albion have announced the signing of midfielder Alex Wiles from Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Division One East rivals Stocksbridge Park Steels.

The highly-rated Wiles started his career with Rotherham before moving to NPL Premier Division side Buxton.

He then moved to then-Vanarama National League North side Gainsborough Trinity before moving to Stocksbridge at the start of the 2017/18 season

Taddy manager Curtis Woodhouse told http://www.tadalbion.com: “Really delighted to get Alex over the line. He is a really bright, creative central midfielder who picks that killer pass and ghosts past people in tight areas.

“Alex has bundles of energy and some real ability - I know the fans are really going to enjoy watching him play.

“I’ve watched Alex several times and have always been impressed; my assistant-manager Martin Foster worked closely with Alex at Gainsborough and highly recommended him as well as former Gainsborough manager Dave Frecklington who gave Alex a glowing reference”.
