... the second summer signing for the Dabbers, following full-back Matty Devine`s arrival from league rivals Witton Albion.

Saxon was most recently with NPL Division One South East side Kidsgrove Athletic, for whom he scored 4 goals for during the 2018/19 campaign, having signed for the club last August after playing for the University of Sheffield.

Following his arrival to the club Saxon expressed his delight at making the move.

He told http://www.nantwichtownfc.co.uk: “I’m really excited about signing for a great club in Nantwich. They’ve got a history of developing and giving opportunities to young players.

“My aim is to help the team push on again following a good season last year. If I can do that by scoring goals and creating chances, then great!

“I’d also like to thank Kidsgrove for giving me an opportunity last season. Now I feel ready to develop further this year and can hopefully do that by playing at a great club like Nantwich.”

Manager Dave Cooke said: We are delighted to have signed Will. He’s a player we have admired and have watched over the last few months.

“He is a young attacking player who will bolster our options in that department with his pace and energy. I have no doubt he will fit in well with our squad.

“As always Nantwich Town will be a place for young players to come and ply their trade with our brand of football, and it is always in the hope that we can push one or two of them into League football in the future”.
