Smith Becomes Harrogate`s Fourth Newcomer

Vanarama National League club Harrogate Town have announced their fourth signing of the summer in Will Smith.

The versatile defender joins from SkyBet Championship side Barnsley, where he signed his first professional deal in July 2017, shortly after being named 2015/16 academy player of the year at Oakwell.

The 20-year-old made his senior debut in 2018 in the EFL Trophy having been a regular starter for the Tykes under-23 side.

The 2018/19 season saw Smith join National League North side Darlington on loan from December onwards, with the young defender making 14 appearances for the Quakers.
