Musselwhite is a goalkeeper who has experience at
this level, having had success at Pontefract Collieries last season, helping
them reach the play-off final.
Musselwhite, son of ex-Hull,
Scunthorpe and Port Vale `keeper Paul, previously turned out for the likes of Rossington
Main, Selby Town, Staveley Miners Welfare, Westella & Willerby, Goole AFC
and Lincoln United.
The
management team targeted him early and manager Grant Black told http://www.belpertownfc.co.uk:
“Ryan is exactly what you want in a ‘keeper, he does all the basics really well
with no frills and he loves to keep clean sheets.
“He’s
commanding and will be a great signing for us.
“He
buys into how we are as a club so much so that there were a few details that
had to change with his offer, and not once did he complain or hold the club to
ransom.
“We
were therefore able to conclude the deal, which is refreshing, and convinced Mike
Norbury and myself that we have got the right man on all fronts”.
