Duku was actually signed for Cheltenham by current Torquay manager Gary Johnson in July 2018 from Hayes & Yeading United.

The 26-year-old Dutch striker weighed in with a club record 39 goals in 2017/18 - 33 in the league - for Hayes & Yeading.

Duku was born and played his early football in Holland, with spells at VV Eemdijk and FC Breukelen, until moving to the UK for the start of season 2015/16.

The forward spent time with Chesham United before moving to Kings Langley, establishing himself as a regular in the side that won promotion to the Southern Premier.

As well as making 13 appearances for the Robins last season, Duku also enjoyed loan spells with National League sides Barnet and FC Halifax Town.
