Centre back Michael Finneran joins the Gulls from league rivals Grays Athletic.

He signed for Grays from Romford midway through the 2017/18 season, and in 2018/19, made 30 appearances, scoring one goal and has previously played for Aveley and Bowers & Pitsea.

Joining from Bostik South Central outfit Waltham Abbey is defender or midfielder Sammy Knott.

Knott was part of the successful East Thurrock United squad that gained promotion to the Vanarama National League South in 2016 after being with Great Wakering Rovers and Aveley.

He had a spell with Concord Rangers before signing for the Abbots during last season when he was also dual registered with Bostik Premier play-off winners Tonbridge Angels.

Central midfielder Albert Levett is the third new Gull – returning for a second spells - joining from another league rival, Brentwood Town, where he was skipper in 2018/19.

He signed for Brentwood from Barking in pre-season 2018, but most notably the 25-year-old spent four years playing in America for Northern Illinois University in the Mid-American Conference.
