Two More Added to Stalybridge Ranks
Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division club Stalybridge Celtic have announced the signing of former Republic of Ireland International defender Stephen O’Halloran and ex-Scarborough Athletic midfielder Nathan Valentine.

Thirty-one-year-old O`Halloran joins Celtic from new league rival FC United of Manchester where he made 45 appearances last season in the Vanarama National League North.

 

A former graduate of Aston Villa, O'Halloran has also played Championship football featuring for Coventry City in 2010/11 while he also played for Stockport County and Salford City, where at the latter, he won promotion from the Northern Premier League in 2015/16, making 46 appearances.

 

He has represented Ireland at under-15, 16, 17 and under-21 levels and made his senior debut in 2007 playing in games against Ecuador and Bolivia.

 

Attacking midfielder Valentine joins us after leaving league rivals Scarborough where he had been since July 2017.

 

The 25-year-old was a key player for Boro during the 2017/18 season, scoring 15 goals as the Seadogs gained promotion from the Northern Premier Division One East.

 

He has also played for Harrogate Town and Frickley Athletic as well as Radcliffe Borough and AFC Liverpool.
