He made 14 appearances for the Daggers in 2018/19 in his second spell, having returned to Victoria Road in the summer of 2018 after two years with Eastleigh.

Originally with Arsenal, for whom he made one senior appearance as well as having loan spells with Watford, Brighton, Lincoln City and AFC Wimbledon, he signed for the Daggers for the first time in 2012 after leaving the Gunners and made 68 appearances before spells with Gillingham and Barnet preceded his arrival at Eastleigh.

Has caps for England at under-17, 18, 19 and under-20 level and 3 full international caps for Trinidad & Tobago.

Hoyte told http://www.maidstoneunited.co.uk: “I am delighted to get the deal done. I’ve played here a few times and know how great the fanbase is.

“I’ve worked under John Still before at Dagenham, so I know what he wants and expects.

“He knows how to get the best of out of players and he knows how to win leagues, so I am sure he will help me and the team achieve what we want to.

“This is going to be a tough league but if we get our team together and work hard, we can beat anyone”.
