Dudley is
a familiar name to Chester supporters, as he was on loan from the Ammies during
last season.
He impressed the Blues faithful and the management duo,
Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley, chipping in with 11 goals in 38
appearances.
The 22-year-old was the `golden boot`
winner and also captured the Seals Live player of the season award.
Dudley was in the Bolton
Wanderers academy from under-9s to under-15s before moving to Bury where he
made his Football League debut at 17 in a match against Burton Albion.
He was sent out on loan to
Guiseley AFC where 5 goals in 7 games earned him a re-call, although he ended
the 2015/16 season back on loan with the Lions in the National League.
Another spell in non-League’s top-flight
came with Macclesfield Town from January 2017 until the end of the season when
Dudley scored 4 goals in 12 games, and Salford landed the hard-working forward
in the summer of 2017.
Dudley joins
Danny Livesey in signing up permanently at the Swansway, as both were on loan
from Salford last term. |
