Law, in
his second spell in charge of the Poppies, oversaw the development of the squad
during his four seasons at Latimer Park, culminating in promotion last season.
As well
as two stints in charge of Kettering, Law has also managed Chasetown, Tamworth,
Barwell, Quorn, Racing Club Warwick and Coventry Sphinx.
The Poppies
Board moved quickly for a replacement and have brought Nicky Eaden back to the
club.
Eaden played
for Kettering and acted as part of the management during Mark Cooper`s time in
charge.
Having
managed in the National League North with Nuneaton Borough during a turbulent
time for the club, he left after a number of ownership changes to take charge
of then-Northern Premier League Premier Division outfit Hednesford Town at the
turn of 2019.
In his
four-month reign he steered the Pitmen away from a relegation fight to mid-table
security.
Owner
Ritchie Jeune told http://www.ketteringtownfc.com:
“Nicky has the qualities we are looking for in a manager. A player who has
played at the level and who has had the success that Nicky had during his
playing career, including winning the league we are currently in. He knows what
it means to win and more importantly what is needed from the top down to win.
“Nicky
has had a challenging start to his managerial career, I believe that Kettering
Town FC is the right club for him to excel”. |
