Centre
forward Jared Lewington returns to Ladysmead from new league rivals Truro City,
who were relegated from the Vanarama National League South.
He had
made the move to Cornwall in June 2018 having made 23 appearances for the
Yellows during the 2017/18 season.
He joined
Tiverton from Toolstation Western League side Buckland Athletic in January 2018.
Lewington
joined Buckland from South West Peninsula League outfit Bovey Tracey as a raw
19-year-old at the start of the 2013/14 season and quickly established himself
as a first choice at the higher level.
Defender Nick
Grimes has also signed Tiverton from the White Tigers.
Grimes is
an Exeter City youth product and his elder brother Matt, a midfielder, is at
Championship club Swansea City.
The
21-year-old former Slimbridge defender joined Truro in October last year after
an impressive spell of just over a year with Cinderford Town.
The
Hartpury College student scored on his debut for the then-National League South
side against Dartford and made a big impression after stepping up two levels.
But ahead
of the final year of his studies he decided the travelling to Cornwall was too
much. |
