Hailston and Cottle started last season at Badgers Hill, before returning to Toolstation Western League Premier Division side Bradford Town on dual registration.

The duo enjoyed a very successful season at Trowbridge Road in a bombastic forward line, which included new Robins' signing Martin Lenihan.

Hailston scored 25 goals in 33 starts for the Bobcats, a goals-per-game ratio which was only bettered by one player in the league last season.

Cottle would be another player that to reach double figures as Bradford Town finished in seventh place in the Western League Premier Division at the culmination of the 2018/19 season.

The form of Hailston and Cottle gave Greaves a decision to make regarding their futures, deciding to bring them back after recent conversations.

He told https://www.weareba11.com: "They both have a point to prove and showed their hunger to return, after I met them a couple of weeks ago.

"We struggled in the final third last season and these two have proven over several years that they know where the net is.

"They were well sought after by a number of Southern League sides, so I am delighted they have decided to return."

Defender Mark Cooper also returns to the club.

He came through the youth ranks at Bristol Rovers before joining Frome for whom he made 152 appearances over two spells with the Robins.

He moved to Weymouth in the summer of 2015 but left the Terras at the end of the 2016/17 season for Vanarama National League South side Chippenham Town, returning to the Bob Lucas Stadium in August 2017.

He spent last season with new league rivals Melksham Town.

Greaves is happy to have added the experience of Cooper to his squad ahead of the upcoming season. He said: "Mark is another player with a great affinity with the club having already played over 100 games for Frome previously, which I felt was important to that bring that connection & passion for the club back.

"He knows what this club is about and showed a great desire to return. He is another lad who is extremely fit and looks after himself away from the club which again is massively important, and we now have a number of those players in the squad which will set the example to the others.

"On top of this, Mark is an extremely experienced player and must have played 400-500 non-league games with Weymouth, Chippenham, Melksham and Frome, and that experience will be invaluable. He can play anywhere across the back four/five which will be important at this level with so many games, injuries and unavailability".
