The 24-year old joins the O’s having scored 12 times in 23 games for the Daggers last term.

Wilkinson initially joined Dagenham on loan from Gillingham in early November 2018, and after an impressive spell, the sharpshooter signed permanently with the Daggers.

The former Republic of Ireland under-21 international started his career as a youngster at Millwall, where he spent three years before signing for Bolton Wanderers.

While at the Trotters, the 6`3” forward started four times in the Championship.

He has also spent time on a number of short loan deals during his career, including with Oldham Athletic, Barnsley, where he won promotion through the play-offs to the Championship and Chesterfield.

He has featured several times for the Republic of Ireland’s youth teams at under-17, 19 and under-21 level.

In the summer of 2017, he moved to the Gills on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee and appeared 50 times in total, including seven League One games before he signed for Dagenham and enjoyed his best scoring spell to date.
